WILD CLAY MUG

This cup is hand-built in stoneware and coated with wild clay collected from the Wadden Sea — a protected natural landscape and part of UNESCO’s World Heritage. The contrast between the refined upper form and the raw, textured surface below reflects the meeting of function and landscape, where material and place remain visibly present.
The cup is fully functional while carrying a strong sculptural character.
