Stoneware vessel with Oxide and Glaze
This sculptural vessel is hand-built from the ground up in stoneware, shaped slowly through a process of layering, intuition, and material listening.
The surface is developed with oxide and glaze, creating a deep, earthy palette that echoes the coastline of Fanø — where wind, sea, and shifting sand leave their traces in quiet, timeless structures.
Dark openings and subtle glaze movement suggest depth and contrast: a dialogue between raw clay and reflective surface, between nature’s roughness and refined stillness.
Approximately 25 cm in height, the piece exists as both vessel and sculpture — an object of permanence, rooted in Nordic landscape and the slow rhythm of the sea.
A unique work, created as a tactile memory of place.
