ABOUT VÉ ATELIER

A sanctuary of sculptural expression.

Rooted in Nordic tradition, Vé Atelier draws its name from the Old Norse word "vé" - meaning a sacred space, a sanctuary for ritual and reverence. In ancient times, a vé was not built of stone or timber, but shaped by presence - a clearing in the forest, a salt-worn shore, or a wind-stilled field where the divine could be felt.

Just like these quiet places of worship, Vé Atelier is a space for contemplation and creation. It is a modern sanctuary where raw nature and refined craftsmanship meet. Each sculptural piece is shaped by hand with the intention to preserve the quiet poetry of the materials - echoing the deep stillness of the North.

With Vé Atelier, the sacred is reimagined - not as a temple, but as form. Not in grandeur, but in texture, silence, and touch.

ABOUT CAMILLA RIGMOR

Rigmor Nørby is a ceramic artist whose intuitive practice bridges contemporary art and collectible design. Guided by a deep attunement to nature’s rhythms and raw materiality, she creates sculptural works that feel both ancient and strikingly modern.

Educated in Fine Arts at an international academy in Dubai, Rigmor refined her sculptural language at an art school in Sicily and most recently at Mahteh Ceramics in Bali, where she studied natural glazes and raw, earth-based elements under the guidance of Maria Loram, a Los Angeles–based artist. This immersive residency deepened her exploration of how nature itself can become both medium and collaborator.

Rigmor now divides her time between Switzerland and Fanø, a small, scenic island on Denmark’s west coast, working from her studios to produce exclusive, one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces for galleries, exhibitions, and discerning collectors worldwide.

Originally from Denmark, she carries her Nordic heritage with quiet pride. Her forms are sensuous and richly textured—echoes of tidal coastlines, shifting landscapes, and the subtle architecture of the natural world. Each piece is entirely hand-formed, inviting the viewer into a space of presence, stillness, and depth.
